RON BRANCH, CRS GRI SFR, is Associate Broker and co-owner of CENTURY 21 Smith Branch & Pope, LLC in Tifton, Georgia. Prior to entering the real estate profession full time, Ron spent 23 years with Georgia Power Company, mostly in and around Atlanta. Then in 1994, he left the Corporate world to pursue a long time dream of becoming a REALTOR®. He has been making up for lost time ever since.
Ron served as President of the TiftArea Board of REALTORS® in 1999, and again in 2007. He is also very active with the Georgia Association of REALTORS (GAR), and currently serves on the GAR Forms Committee, Audit Committee and Professional Standards Committee. Ron has also served on the GAR Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Nominating Committee, Education Committee, Professional Development Committee, the State and Local Governmental Affairs Committee, the GAR Structural Audit Task Force, and has chaired the GAR Special Recognition Committee. Ron is also active with the National Association of REALTORS and currently serves as a Federal Political Coordinator (FPC). For the past 18 years, he has been a certified Pre-license instructor for the Georgia Real Estate Commission and is co-owner and Director of the South Georgia School of Real Estate in Tifton, GA. Ron is a very strong advocate of improving the quality of education for REALTORS®, and previously served on the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association (GREEA) board of directors. He is also a past Dean of the Georgia REALTORS Institute (GRI designation school). He is an active life member of the "Circle of Excellence" Club of the TiftArea Board and has received the prestigious Centurion Producer award from CENTURY 21.
Serving in civic and community affairs is Ron's way of farming for real estate leads and giving something back, all at the same time. He is a past chairman of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Tift County Development Authority. He is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Tifton and is active in numerous other civic and community activities and committees.
